Very good durable kettle

The kettle is great but most importantly it works on my induction burner. The lid is very (too?) tight and I like the one piece body design so no leaks! I like solid construction and I believe that you can buy such things once - or at least they will last for a very long time! I got it in early November 2012 and my boyfriend has used it more than me (daily morning tea) but we are both happy with it. It looks clean and still looks new after a few months. Since the whistle has better construction

A wonderful teapot, already 8 years old, no matter where it is made.

I've had mine (4.2 qt) since March 2011. I've been using it every day since it arrived. On an electric stove, on an induction stove, on a gas stove, I take it with me on a hike. It still cleans well enough not to be constantly on the stovetop when guests arrive etc. The short gooseneck spout is perfect for pouring coffee like Chimex or pouring straight into disposable teacups. etc. The only reason I'm here now is because I was wondering if they were still in stock and thought it would be better

Perfect balance between size, weight, quality and price

I like this kettle. It's almost perfect (would rather it actually be from Belgium as advertised than Indonesia as advertised on the sticker on the base). The size is just what I need to make lots of tea as well as pitchers of iced tea. The weight is just perfect, big enough to feel like a quality kettle, with a thick base to dissipate heat but not so heavy that I can't lift it easily. The lid and opening are large so I can easily put my hand and sponge in to clean. The spout doesn't drip…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

I bought model 6.28 Qt. Hand forged in a small Belgian village in Indonesia. Unlike my Yelp reviews, which I post right after being exposed to a pile of poo while still fresh in my memory, I prefer to wait a bit before reviewing a product after a few months of use. The model I received in October 2015 was definitely made in Indonesia (see picture). I read some reviews that mentioned that the smaller 4.2Qt model was made in Indonesia, while the larger 6.5Qt model was most likely made in Belgium.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Some difficulties
