Just buy it good for pulling

Had no idea how many times I use them for fixing would use in store - quick and easy - used calipers after cleaning and they were dead. Cheap tool and saves time. Update - I use them so much it's funny. Setup is quick and accurate. I built a cross slide for a table saw and had to measure 1" from the kerf to apply the tape to the top rail - instant accurate results. I also use it to check the accuracy of the table saw fence and set the distance between it and the saw blade. I also used them toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 23 holes included (5) 3/8-16 threaded holes for clamping and (18) unthreaded holes x 3" Weight 2.1 lbs

Great blocks for the price

At first glance they seem incredibly well made for the price. I have yet to micrometer them to really check the dimensions, but I don't expect them to differ that much. Pains. I plan to insert a 3/8" carbide drill into the through holes to properly open them up. If you bought them for editing, you can most likely easily make this change yourself. Just remember that they are hardened so you will need a harder cutting tool and cutting should be easy and slow unless you have a hard machiningโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Accuracy and squareness on all sides within 0.0001" to 0.0002"
Cons
  • Available in black only

Not what I expected for the price. Much better.

Didn't expect this quality at this price. I ordered them primarily for a "racquet set" that I plan to use at work for things like bolting Destaco clamps to makeshift jigs, rough work, and general abuse that doesn't bother you with an expensive pair of 1-2-3 -want to stick paired blocks. , and would be satisfied if they were within a few thousand of the nominal sizes. Out of curiosity I decided to test them in a breadboard lab and they are close to tolerance for matching kits costing severalโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Heat treatment and carburizing to HRC 57-62. Made from precision tool steel, hardened and ground on all 6 sides of the block
Cons
  • Vulgarity
