Purchased for several projects

Did not get my greenhouse up where shade would be needed but always next year! Very sick dog to care for most important! Shade for windows,I got done and allows air flow and hot sun off windows and window cooler pads I built for 3 windows to help cool house.

Pros
  • Worked great for my garden
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in areas with high winds or frequent storms

Keeping our ranch cool

Very pleased with this product; just ordered another roll. We've attached some of the cloth to our chicken coop to help keep our birds cool; and used the rest for our garden. All of the attaching is done with zip ties, which thread easily through the shade cloth. The cloth so far has held up well and not torn, even in our Oklahoma winds.

Pros
  • Perfect for my garden!
Cons
  • May accumulate dirt or debris easily over time

Great price point. in my review

Great quality for the price point. Reliable. Durable. Would purchase again. Much cheaper than the stuff available at my local Home Depot.

Pros
  • value for money
Cons
  • May not provide enough UV protection for outdoor furniture or surfaces

Give your Garden some shade!

Very glad I found this roll at this price! My garden is directly southern exposed and gets way too hot in the summer sun. This roll of shade cloth has allowed me to cover nearly 100 plants easily and protect them from the heat and sun.

Pros
  • Completely satisfied!
Cons
  • No strong enough wind factor very weak

A noticeable improvement

It seems to do the job. Amazingly cooker under shade cloth even though we have been having intense heat this summer. Mind you it is not like air conditioning, but it does help a lot.

Pros
  • it was good
Cons
  • Limited stretch or giving could make it difficult to install evenly

False advertisement. 3 foot wide

It is not 5’10. It is maybe 3’ and the packaging still says "5’10”. Very disappointed and no one to contact about the false advertisement.

Pros
  • Made from HDPE High Density Polyethylene Materials with knitted construction for stretch-ability.
Cons
  • Could be prone to mildew or mold growth in humid environments

Used for curtains on lanai

So far so good. It has only been a week. I made "curtains” for my lanai in Florida to cut down on the sun but still see out. That is working. I was hopeful that it might also decrease rain coming in but that hasn’t worked.

Pros
  • You can easily cut this shade cloth roll to whatever size/shape you need.
Cons
  • Could become damaged if left up during winter weather or snow

Provides enough shade

I will be ordering more this week to complete the front and back of my shade house. I needed to build a cheap structure over a few rows to grow duringthe hot summer months and ordered this shade cloth. I got over heated building because because it's hot here in Florida and the temperature is much cooler with the shade cloth. I love this product.

Pros
  • Like
Cons
  • May not be as resistant to fading or discoloration over time

Looks Good for my opinion

It seems to have the qualities I would like for small crop protection. Hopefully I won't need it, but it will do the trick if I do.

Pros
  • Works perfectly for shading over our Chicken run
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other shade cloth materials

Quick shade best in my review

Used this on sides of large kennel and as a shade sail for chicken coop. Let’s breeze flow through and offers ample shade without blocking out all light.

Pros
  • Nice product and cheaper then others
Cons
  • May not be as effective at blocking out direct sunlight as other types of shade materials

Keeps my cabbage going

I got my cabbages in late this year and as we are already getting 90+ temps in May, I know I'm pushing my luck to get my cabbages to head up. But this shade cloth seems to helping a lot. So far, no sign of bolting and they are still growing. I pull them back for watering (they are water permeable, but I don't want to waste water by having half of it sit on top of the shade cloth. (Maybe next year will get a drip system installed into my raised beds). but when I put my arm under the open end of…

Pros
  • Stretched in frame good
Cons
  • Limited color options may not match all outdoor decor schemes

Could rip this with my breasts on a cold day.

It's a sunscreen, as stated. But, not a very useful one. It's extremely thin and rips too easily and that is what make it easy to install, sort of. I'm very petite so it being lightweight is great. It's not useful unless reinforced. I took carpet tape and strips of canvas to the edges. Had I not, it would rip and fall to the ground. It isn't strong enough to be secured. Eyelets will rip through, nails won't work, Staples might if you use a billion per inch and even then only 2 or 3 will hold…

Pros
  • It looks like the degree of shade required.
Cons
  • Limited availability could make it difficult to purchase when needed

Nice product on my review.

Overall I was satisfied with the quality of this product. It was a little thinner than I expected but it worked just fine and for the price I can't complain.

Pros
  • Unique lock-stitch design helps maximum airflow, water pass, and will not unraveling.
Cons
  • Could be too heavy or bulky to move easily
