This handle looks exactly like the factory handle that I snapped off. The installation took about 15 minutes. I took a picture with my phone first and had to compare after unplugging the wires from the switch to replace the broken button. It is very easy to perform the operation. Make sure you unplug the saw first so you don't get electrocuted when you move the switch.

I don't know what some people are talking about when they say the grip doesn't fit or modifications are needed. I have a 703 Series 1 and this pen fits just like the original. Keep track of your old screws and this will go on pretty easily. April 13, 2020: I had the opportunity to use an old saw with a new handle and it works great! If you have a 703 Series 1, don't listen to anyone who says this pin doesn't work.

Replacing both halves of this DeWalt grip went smoother and faster than expected. Helpful tips from other buyers included photographing the schematic to properly reroute the wires in the new grip. As I removed the screws, I placed each one in the correct location on the top half of the new grip to make sure they were screwed in properly. Not replacable. With any luck, this replacement will give me ten more years of use.
