I bought a used planer. When replacing the blade, some Allen screws broke off. These torx screws are easier to install and less likely to snap off.

Correctly sized screws to attach the blades to the DeWalt DW734 plane. The only difference is that they are star screws and my original hex screws.

I have decided to upgrade to the T30 next time I change blades rather than returning them. The cover screws will still be T25, but I can live with that.

The replacement screws I received were better than the original screws which often snapped when removed to replace the blade. The new tool and the tool that came with it did the job perfectly.

Special thanks to the review saying they fit the Dewalt 734; General information about the product was not very helpful. The screws are definitely a higher quality replacement than I expected. The T-handle wrench seemed to work with no issues. Although some have complained about it. Don't be fooled by the seller's information. Mine came from a lawn care store but the contents were just what I needed. For the curious and concerned like me, 24 Torx bit screws/bolts are included.
