This grinder works reasonably well and the low profile makes it easy to use. But there are issues that keep me from recommending it: 1) It takes at least 5 seconds for the motor to come to a complete stop once you're done grinding. You cannot lower the tool all the way down, otherwise the rotating motion will cause it to wobble and jump. This grinder works great. I ordered a whole set of sanding discs for my old sander, but I have found that my old sander doesn't accept velcro (velcro) like most modern sanders do. Since all I can easily find is a Velcro design, I've decided to buy a new grinder. I don't use my grinder very often, but when I do I want to make sure it lasts and works well.
