Works great with Smart Plug if you know the trick!

I am writing this review mainly for people who want to know if this works with a smart socket. There is a lot of misinformation in the question and answer, but I bought it to see if it works for myself. And it is. Here's the trick. One button - It's just a switch (no shutdown) but it will activate even when the machine is unplugged. Not a fan.: Coffee, tea, and espresso

Edit: This thing is two months old and I hate it. i buy a new one The problems I list below are all too common. Rather spend a little more for a better car. It sucks. This is my third single shot coffee maker (I don't make Keurigs) in this price range. In fact, it was the most expensive I've ever gotten. Small size, auto shut off, perfect for 1-2 cups

I love my little Mr. Coffee this Black & Decker Single Serve. What attracted me most to this Black & Decker product was (1) its small size, barely larger than the travel mug that came with it, and (2) the auto shut-off feature that kicks in when the coffee is brewed. (How many times have you left the house and wondered if you turned off the coffee maker?) The quality of the coffee brewed in the eternal fine filter is excellent. Highly recommended! Great price for the perfect coffee mug. A mug is also good for a plastic cup.

UPDATE: Still strong after 2 years! My friend lost his cup, grr, but the friend is treated separately. Exactly what I needed! Prepares the perfect cup of coffee from ordinary coffee grounds. Also used these soft pods (not Keurig style) but I haven't tried them. The filter and basket are easy to remove and easy to clean with a quick rinse. The plastic cup is thick and sturdy, hasn't leaked yet and keeps my drink warm for at least an hour. Note that I was initially confused that I had to leave…
