It was too small for my 2013 BMW 328i. I thought I was specifically looking for the right thing, and yet it was wrong. will return it

He said it was compatible with my car, I fitted it, it was difficult to get in and it got stuck to the point I do now need to call a friend to get me a knife and dig it up so i can actually start my terrible car product

2012 x5. The font is original. Use a pick to remove the original and snap the new one into place. Only one way to install it. If you don't align or align the plastic clips on the back, they will break.

Matches the switch just like the OEM but the reason I gave 3 stars is because it looks just as worn at night as my old one. In my opinion the paint is too thin. During the day it looks like new. There also seems to be something different. It's like it's 11:45 instead of 12. I'll probably skip it in favor of a better one.

Perfect fit. the worn knob didn't bother mrs (it's her car) but it was so easy and cheap to replace that i made it myself. Font layout is slightly different from OEM but looks like a nice fresh OEM button once installed. One direction would be good, just pry off the old one with the tip of a pocket knife, line up the new button vertically and press until it clicks into place.

I bought my 16 year old a used 2007 328xi with a worn engine start/stop button. It looked terrible. So I took a chance and ordered this replacement knob. He watched YouTube videos and repeated the process himself. Button fits perfectly, looks and works like new! He was so proud - he kept telling everyone about his first car conversion. ;-) I recommend buying if you have an engine start/stop button that has seen better days. You will not be disappointed!
