📺 Aluminum Alloy Wall Mount Shelf Bracket for TV Accessories, WiFi Router, TV Box, Set Top Box (Black, 33 x 21 cm) Review

This item was so weak that I used it to hold the Blu-ray player for my cinema room and 5 minutes after installing the weight of This Blu-ray player weighs less than 1 pound when the shelf is peeled off the wall, the metal is paper thin and has no rigidity. I ended up attaching hooks to the ceiling and running cables to the shelf to support its weight.

This is a good product. I only have two small problems. First, it has very large drywall anchors. I had to use a 3/8" drill bit to put it in the wall. Ouch! The second issue is that my router doesn't quite sit on the shelf because then the power and ethernet cables start to bend and push back. Overall I am satisfied with the product, especially for the money.

This is a really nice shelf and the bars on the side give you something to attach things with velcro or some other type of strap. I only gave it 3 stars because it seems to me that the person who designed it forgot all the cables connected to different devices, ie. Power, cable TV, HDMI or anything else that can be connected to the back. If it was a little heavier than aluminum and 2 inches lower I would add the rest of the stars!

Although quite durable, it is not as big as advertised. My router, which I measured before looking for the shelf, does not fit on it, although the dimensions given are larger than my router. I had to slide the modem under the router to keep it straight because without it the router is almost on its side. If you have a router smaller than mine I think that would be fine, but for me it was false advertising at best.

The shelf is made of aluminium, which is only slightly thicker than heavy-duty aluminum foil. The modem holds up normally, but I wouldn't put anything even heavier on it. I believe the holes at the bottom of the shelf help keep the modem cool. I strongly encourage you to carefully consider the placement of this shelf so no one or anything stumbles upon it. I got the impression it wouldn't take much effort to damage it. Also note that the wall sockets for the screws protrude about 1/16 inch from
