Works great on PS4!

I bought this hard drive to use as external storage for my PS4 after seeing it recommended for such purposes. It works great and is very easy to use. I connected it to my PS4 and at first PS4 said the device is not supported. This is perfectly normal as the hard drive needs to be formatted. Just go to Settings > Devices > USB Drives and select the My Passport device. From there, select "Format as Extended Storage”. Formatting only takes about 10 seconds, after which you can move game…

Lock your stuff in this VAULT

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about this. Over the years I've upgraded my trusty old laptop and replaced the memory by turning it into a spinning hard drive. to SSDs etc. So when considering backup storage due to the recent spate of ransomware attacks, my first impulse was to invest in a portable SSD, but they are still a bit overpriced in terms of price per gigabyte. So I looked (with some reluctance) at the spinning cymbals. I'm glad I did. I got this WD Passport (2TB) for a very…

I decided to buy this 2TB hard drive and now I have more than enough space to store all my games. Since most of my games are digital copies, I really needed the extra space. It's very easy to set up, all you have to do is plug it into a USB port, go to Devices and set it up as an extended storage device. The process only takes a few minutes and I transferred

WD My Passport continues to please!

Plugged in and working. Just to be sure, I ran various formatting and drive verification tests to test the drive until I had 100 hours on it to wipe out any early problems (child mortality is what they call it in the reliability industry). I like the three-year warranty, but didn't want to give up my data until I felt safe with the drive. I'm on a long trip and I carry this drive with me as a backup and also to store my music and photo libraries that are too big for my laptop. This is my second

Great product in store

I bought it for my PlayStation 4 and I am very happy with it. It's small and has a sleek, stylish design that works well. Setup is pretty easy and only takes a minute. Just plug it in and follow simple steps. I highly recommend it for PlayStation use and will be buying another one.
