Dislikes Suitable for welding gloves

Tig Finger "spread" outward, fibers fell off and got everywhere and it didn't help. doesn't really help against the heat, I ended up finding a broken size 10 finger cup that works better

Pros
  • Fiberglass, heat shield for welding provides added protection for fingers and hands
Cons
  • Zero

Threads started to unravel after only a few uses

Disassembles very easily, does not stay in place, threads unravel, don't seem to offer any noticeable thermal protection. It is better to use a proven rag to protect against hot welds.

Pros
  • Unique design allows for one or two fingers to be protected
Cons
  • Interchangeable

The threads started to unravel after only a few uses

Very easy to disassemble, doesn't really stay in place, the threads are unraveling and looks like it , as if it actually offers no appreciable thermal protection. It is better to use a proven rag to protect against hot welds.

Pros
  • Adjustable strap holds the Flake glue finger through the weld
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pliers

Falling apart after first use.

I like the idea of this product but it's not very well designed. First, Velcro sticks to heat-resistant fabric and pulls out the strands. You don't even have to try to put it on. It was already frizzy from what was in my pocket. Secondly, heat-resistant threads are much weaker than other products of this type, such as B. Tig fingers. Just running your wrist across a dirty metal table was enough to neatly cut entire skeins in two and ruin it. It's a good idea and I hope it works for someone, but

Pros
  • Reinforced "tail" extends heat protection the full length of the arm and wrist
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
