Description of πŸ”§ Blackburn Wayside 19-Function Bike Multi-Tool - Outpost Pewter, One Size

19 FUNCTIONS - We've gone out of our way to pack this tool with as many useful functions as humanly possible. INDIVIDUAL HEX KEYS - Our patent-pending allows the most common hex keys to snap on and off the tool, which can be used individually to be able to easily to reach and properly torque any bolt head. All keys feature a ball end. CHAIN ASSEMBLY HOOK - Instead of growing a third hand, you can use this simple device to hold the ends of your chain together while you reassemble the links. DISC BRAKE PAD SPREADER - It always happens . You accidentally squeeze your brake lever while your wheel is removed during transportation or making a repair. This little tool resets the brakepads quickly and easily to get you back on the bike. TORX - Modern bikes have more types of fasteners than ever. One of the newest to show up is the Torx fastener, but don't worry, we have you covered.

Great tool.: Sport

I have several bike tools and this is my favorite. I like removable hex wrenches because the tool's bulky body doesn't get in the way. I use a hook to mount the chain and it saved me in the cold when I was fixing the chain with cold hands. The included knife is good so I don't have to carry a separate knife in my pocket.

Pros
  • TORX - Modern bikes have more mounting options than ever before. One of the latest ones to come out is the torx fastener but don't worry we've got you covered
Cons
  • Negative Gift

What DaHeo?! No Phillips screwdriver

I love full-size removable hexes. Recently I had to use a chain puller to loosen and reinstall the pin. Sturdy and works as expected. But. I didn't realize it until I needed it, no Phillips screwdriver! Freewheel adjuster, front derailleur with upper and lower limit, all Phillips screws. I'd happily trade more unused torque for a cross.

Pros
  • CHAIN HOOK - Instead of growing a third hand, you can use this simple device to hold the ends of the chain together while you reassemble the links
Cons
  • Almost never

Sturdy tool but gross for saddlebags

Haven't had a glitch yet but looks like this will cover the most likely problems that this has could happen. The problem with storing this tool is that it has sharp edges along the panels. If you put it in a saddle roll it will eventually pop (which happened with the Silca Premio). You should have enough room in your bag to store the instrument in its own sturdy case.

Pros
  • 19 FEATURES - We have endeavored to fill this tool with as many useful features as possible
Cons
  • Updates available
