Better than a drill bit

These bits are pretty good, better than the others. However, they could be better. I've found that the drill bit doesn't drill and slip much in the router. To make them work I suggest drilling a pilot groove. Also, the 3 cutters in my set were not blunt, rather one or more of the cutters broke rendering them unusable. Even with coolant. They can be sharpened and reused, but the blades will break off.

Expensive cutting heads.

I will add later and worth every penny! Running at low RPM (<500 RPM) and light pressure, this type of spot welding torch is amazing compared to the double ended junk sold at most parts and paint shops. They will not fit in the same holders as these reversible cutters, you will need a special rotabreach holder (blair #11096 complete set). The slower you drive, the faster you will get to your destination.

A few years ago I first bought tool 11094 to remove the side panels. I used it again last year for another project. The first cutter successfully removed 5 quarter panels before I realized it was no longer up to the task. There were probably 120 spot welds total, most of which were at less than ideal angles as I worked around the wheel wells and body panels. I wasn't very careful with the drilling speed either and rarely used cutting lubricant. So I just ordered this set of cutters and some…
