I was skeptical at first because of the price of this item. Set and forget for now. Usually with other DVRs, the brackets are always the weak point. This is probably a product you get what you pay for. High price but worth it. On the 2018 Silverado, it allows you to mount a tall and narrow bracket under the mirror at an angle that would not be possible with others. Even the mount that comes with BlackVue wouldn't look as good. I didn't want a decal showing on the outside of the windshield.

I chose this unit because I wanted a cleaner 750S 2CH setup. It works exactly as described and is very flexible because you can position the camera using the articulated arms. It's also stable, doesn't wobble when I'm driving, and the camera's G-sensor etc seems to work like it's taped to the windshield.
