Unlike any other

Very nice elastic canvas. Creates the impression of high arches with a piece of elastic between the heel and the cushion. My legs look better than in them. Not much padding on the bottom. The barrel is very narrow. Buy one size larger than the size chart and buy a larger width for a normal width foot.

High quality dance shoes at a great price!

My daughter is picky about style and materials and doesn't like traditional leather flats. This is exactly the type of flat we were looking for (split canvas sole). They appear to be of good quality with a heavier material than similar shoes I have purchased from a lower priced store in the past. I ordered the same size as the street shoes and they fit perfectly!

Hit and Miss in Ballet and Dance

I bought shoes in my street size (7m). You are so cute. I even pulled the elastic in the bag to even it out, but it looked like a bunch and didn't really help. I can wash them in hot water or tumble dry on high to make them fit. Others seem lucky enough to get the right size according to their street shoe size so I can't help but wonder if I buy another 7m, will that fit better or is it too big again? (shrugs)

Great Shoes - Order outdoor shoe size

These flats DO NOT match Bloch's ballet shoe size chart. I wear normal size 7.5 shoes and her management calls them size 4.5 ballet shoes. I followed the reviews below and originally ordered a 6.5 which was still too small. I then ordered 7 and they fit, but if I hadn't needed the shoes that day I would have sent them back and ordered 7.5 too. I would suggest just ordering your normal street shoe size. But overall a great shoe.

Trusted brand for quality flats that fit perfectly!

Perfect for adult ballet classes and so comfortable! The elastic wasn't too tight and if you follow Bloch's sizing recommendation they should fit true to size. And since they're from Bloch, the quality couldn't be better. It was definitely worth it for me to spend the extra money on this brand instead of buying inferior discount ballerinas. Ballet is tough enough that you don't have to worry about your shoes falling apart in the middle of class.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Your feet look great but the heel padding is weird

I love these shoes. It adjusts very well to show off your arches and stretches to fit like a glove. However, the heel pad is oddly thick and doesn't sit properly on the heel. I have to constantly fix the position of the heel, otherwise my feet roll a little. So kind of impractical. I also really like this shoe as it is lightweight and very stretchy. For reference, I'm a size 6-6.5 M and bought it a size 5.5 B. They were a little tight on the big toe at first, but stretched when worn. It's been…
