Blue Buffalo Wilderness Protein Natural Dogs ~ Food Review

Bought this food because it was the food my puppy ate before I adopted him. When I opened the jar and compared it to the one the breeder had sent me home, I knew something was wrong. Not only did this smell awful, it was gray and looked like it would decompose in a can. Nothing like what I got from the owner of exactly the same food. I had to throw it away right away. I thought Revain had solved this problem based on the recent good reviews, but still got a VERY BAD batch. Very disappointed.

Very Bad! We have a new puppy (less than 2lbs) and the breeder told me he eats this so of course I go to Revain and buy him. Since we've had it (13 days) we've used up three cans. He hasn't eaten much in the past few days. No matter what he ate, he was sick and just seemed miserable. I have read several reviews complaining about getting spoiled food from Revain. I've done this several times and had no problems prior to this order. I fed my 7 month old Malamute a can this morning and he hesitated when she came up to him which is very unusual. He started to eat, but then withdrew and vomited several times. Mixed feelings about this product. We used up 24 cans and bought a new 12 pack. Glasses are usually a pleasant pink color and moist on the inside. These glasses were semi-rigid and dark brown. Revain replaced the first 12 for free but nothing could be done on the second. We tried to contact Blue Buffalo and they asked for photos. The lady on the phone was very nice and patient. I have read many reviews on this product and seen several people claiming that their dog(s) are ill. I bought a box of these on a hunch and haven't experienced anything like it. We have a very picky dog (which drives me crazy at times) who turns his nose up at several brands of dog food - even expensive items like Merricks! But he loves this food.
