This cage is even too small for finches. Please research and select at least the recommended minimum cage size for your bird. This cage is even too small for finches, parrots and canaries! Using this cage would be considered animal cruelty!

Good cage for the price, very roomy for my parrot. He seems happy with his new home. It's easy to clean, lightweight and works flawlessly. The only thing I would like to know is that all three doors are on the same end, it would be nice if one was on the long side then you wouldn't have to reach for the other end to put something in the cell. Shipped 8/2 and received 10/2, great service.

The wire for the cage is weak, the perches are plastic and offer weak support and stability. The cage is large and roomy for the price and a good buy if you are not concerned with quality and are more interested in saving money. My concern is that the lid doesn't match the cage. I also have some safety concerns due to poor cage design and will be returning; I really didn't want to waste time and money. I hope this is helpful for those looking to purchase this cage.

Given the choice I would pay more for an identical cage with thicker wire and construction. If you can find one then it's definitely a better buy. BUT other than that the design is great and considering my choice I am very happy with the cage. I think this will work well as a permanent cage for finches.
