Good Switch – Boating

Does what it's supposed to do, I use it for a dual battery winch output configuration on my truck. My only complaint is that I would like to see mounting screws or bolts in the packaging

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

I like being able to choose between batteries

Good product. Installs easily except for the large 1/2" connectors which require a larger cleat hole on your cables. I'm glad I bought it. I use it on my RV to keep 1 battery in reserve.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • Almost never

Buy quality when you need it to work

I needed this heavy duty switch to connect two heavy duty batteries to my 12000 winch for my boat - WOW - great product, well made - NOTE - size of the Grommets larger than most amps - be sure to plan for this

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Excellent fit for my RV

I use this as a decoupler for my bus. The starting circuit is operated via this switch. Diesel 10.4 liters starts without problems. I was concerned about this in a (4) 6 volt series parallel 12 volt system. I used to love using Blue Sea products, but now I'm addicted to them.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Interval

Really hard work. Boating and Sailing

Installed last week, replaced by another brand. Was impressed with the assembly of the Blue Sea Systems 3002 HD series switch. Really heavy duty, fixed switch position, love the 1/2" lugs. Raised legs gave plenty of cable room on three sides.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

waste of money! - Battery switch

I bought this in April and just installed it last week. Now I'm out of the return window and stuck with a radio button that doesn't work. When switched off, the battery inputs were NOT switched off. I checked with a multimeter that the battery voltage comes out no matter what position the switch was in. I don't even know if picking one or two will properly isolate or combine my battery groups.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
