I was worried my cat would take this collar off too easily based on other comments but I was happy to know that they are not very easy to take off but if they get caught on something they are safe. My cat doesn't mind the bow either and actually seems to prefer this collar over the old one :)

It's adorable! The first day he wore it alone I found him in my office chair where he likes to sleep when I get home. However, I replaced it and it has not been removed since. At least I know the tear off feature works. It rings because I put his ID chip and rabies tag on his collar, but after a few days of wearing it he doesn't seem friendly anymore. Overall it's cute and functional. I was concerned that the fly might get in the way, but it's small enough not to bother him.

I'm sorry, but I don't like this collar. There's no bell, and it's made of a band that's rough to the touch. The cat doesn't care. I have bought pink and red chokers with bows, I believe from the same seller before, and I have LOVED them. (Felt? And with bells.) The pink got dirty over time and the red at Christmas, so I gave this variety a try. My cat is wearing dirty pink again because it's so much cuter. I do NOT recommend this collar. This collar is so cute! I liked that it is elastic. If my cat wants to scratch underneath, she can move. I didn't like that clean fluffy part because my cat got her bottom canine tooth stuck in it. So I cut that part off just to be safe. I didn't like that it seemed very big for a cat even though I bought the XS.
