Golf bags are not all the same. My bag has a molded top with racquet slots that point in one direction. There is no place to "attach" the clip to the bag. So my problem with the easy accessibility of the stick remains. The clips look strong enough but I won't know because they won't fit in my pocket.

. I wanted them to separate my golf clubs as they keep 'tangling' (and messing up my grips) in my bag which only has 3 compartments for my clubs. The back latches that were meant to attach to the golf bag compartments were too hard to close my golf bag compartments so they could not serve any purpose. I have no idea if they hold on to the shaft of the stick during the round because I couldn't even attach the clips to my bag to find out.

When I first received these bags I didn't think they would open wide enough to fit over the rather thick top hem of my bag. However, this was not a problem. They are very flexible and appear to be strong. When removing and replacing a club you must lift it by the thinner part of the shaft before removing and vice versa when replacing.
