Works as advertised, 1/2" screw holes too large. Also added extra mounting holes in the center. The only downside, or rather downside, is that the original factory cable is very was short. Just under 24". Extended 2" outside the frame. Really couldn't offer enough for an efficient drip loop. Overall good value for money.

First of all, the lock nuts that screw on the back are not much wider than the threaded part. Your hole needs to be precise or the nut won't hold it in place. Second, the voltmeter section is a very short threaded body and generally doesn't hold in place very well. Third, the diameter of the holes in the baseplate is too large and the tube modules do not fit securely. Fourth, it's a 30 amp solar regulator, but you can barely stick 12 gauge wire in the slots.

This is my third controller, the first two were WindyNation and the screws(?) of the wires didn't work so I bought this one. Today I plugged in my solar panel and the + wire from the battery fell out and can't be retightened. That's how it worked for a month and a half. What's happening?
