Sometimes I need to be able to connect my Mac to a widescreen TV. There are many ways to do this and with my Roku 3 and Plex I can stream my photos and videos and some websites, but by no means all websites. This cable with HDMI cable solves the problem. Everything seems to work but the product itself doesn't look like the picture. I told my student I ordered it because I liked the narrow profile of the female end, so he ordered the same. We were both surprised to find that the female end of the cable (pictured in the foreground) was about 3-4 times wider than the plug pictured! The picture is completely deceptive because it is not what they send. I don't like it so I gave it 2 stars because it wasn't honest in the ad: one star because it works
