BlueRigger wins again. You have a great price and a great product! My cheap, flimsy optical cable that came with the soundbar was starting to degrade, so I knew when it was time to upgrade it where I wanted to go. I've bought some of their HDMI cables in the past so the decision was easy. Of course they did it again. As always a great product!

Exactly what I was looking for. It took me 10 feet to get from my wall-mounted (swivel) TV through the cable trap to the soundbar, which is closer to the ground in the entertainment center. This is enough for the swivel mount at the end of the TV to have some slack to change the viewing angle without removing the optical connector. Outstanding sound quality.

The item was shipped quickly and without any transport damage. And this product really made my surround sound pop! Gold-plated end caps make it easy to insert and align the optical cable. And when I turned on my Yamaha receiver, the sound quality was much better than with the Bluetooth setup I had. No lip sound delay, everything was in sync and the sound was impressive! The product arrived on time. But what can you say/expect from this kind of connection? This one fits no better or worse than any of the other brands I've tried. My recent experience with these types of connectors is that they always fit into an audio device connector. Usually click and safe. But never approach a comparable TV port that way. No problems with this cable. The pegs on the end are forcefully inserted as they should, not hanging out or being too tight. The cable itself is thin and flexible, more flexible than the nylon braided cables I've had. I had several other optical cables from other manufacturers and 3 of them I threw away or returned due to various issues, either straight out of the box when new or later. This one is perfect so far.
