They are much smaller than they look

They are very small. In the picture they look much bigger. If they were bigger, they would give more leverage. I also scratched the rim badly.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Updates

Replaces my plastic

Bought because the plastic broke. work pretty good always worried that it would damage the tube when using it, but no problem so far. Even after changing tire size to thicker tires for local roads.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • old

Not as good an idea as it sounds

I bought these thinking they would be more durable than plastic levers. However, they tend to scratch the surface of discs if you're not very careful. It's probably best to stick with plastic, even if it seems more brittle.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Protection

Also worthwhile if you rarely change tires.

In the past I've always used a couple of screwdrivers to change tires but they were recommended and quite cheap so I decided to give them a try. They're worth the money and a lot easier to use than anything I've done in the past. I wish I had had these as a kid and worn out a lot of tires.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Short instructions

BlueSunshine Stainless Steel Bike Tire Levers THE BEST

I loved every aspect of the product and the excellent service and delivery. I use them to pry bike tires off rims. Most other tire levers currently available are made of brittle plastic that will break under stress. These levers will last forever and will not rust. A thin, spoon-shaped spatula can handle even the toughest road tires.

Pros
  • User Friendly
Cons
  • Zero

My phone damaged. for sport

I bought these after realizing my tires were very tight on the wheels. I assumed the metal would penetrate better between the tire and rim. I was right about hitting the bead but found that the tool had pierced 2 different tubes. I ended up taking it to a bike shop and asked them to do it. I can't say for sure that plastic spoons would be better, but these just didn't suit me.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Best for tight beads

Perfect for tight beads. I bought these after I broke the plastic lever while changing a tire. I had no shutdown issues once I got them. I actually had to take my bike to a shop after my repair failed and the technician working on my bike commented that he was impressed that I was able to remove the tire at all. I've read that metal levers like this can scratch the rim, but I ride my bike around town so scratched rims are the least of my aesthetic concerns. That being said, if you're worried…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
