Big piece of junk. I have a question for the developers of this wonderful device. Why would you design a device that would eliminate the need for chords and then needed a chord to connect an auxiliary chord? I bought this thing expecting to be able to plug it into my car stereo's USB port (which I can plug my phone into and play music), but no. I understand this bullshit that needs an extra wire

Sound delay about 10-12 seconds. The audio also jumps every 4-5 seconds and cuts out completely every 9-10 seconds. It costs $9 so I'm not surprised the quality is poor. I'm throwing this in the trash and looking for a better one. It is used in the 2012 Tahoe LTZ. I wanted to use this adapter to play audio from my phone while using a wireless charger. I try to get rid of all unnecessary cables.

This is a great product for the price (something the people at BMW obviously couldn't figure out with their impractical Y-cable). Both the Bluetooth receiver and the car radio are paired with the iPhone at the same time. I was able to make and receive calls through the audio system while music was playing through the Bluetooth receiver, and the receiver stayed paired after the call ended. The receiver will automatically connect when the ignition is turned on. The sound quality is pretty good.

This is a very cheap way to get your car to play music from your phone wirelessly. It works as expected and connects to my phones via Bluetooth every time I turn on the car stereo. The sound quality is fine and setup was a breeze. The only reason I can't give it more than 3 stars is because every time you get in your car it says "Your bluetooth device has been connected successfully". The emphasis on that voice makes the setup even cheaper, making this product almost undesirable.

Analog out is a pretty hot signal. I had some signal clipping until I turned the Bluetooth volume down to around 90% on my phone. When I did that, the signal quality sounded great. Maybe my previous adapter produced a weak signal; I have to disassemble the center console to get to the gain control on an adapter I installed years ago, so I'm sticking with the 90% volume rule, at least for now. By the way, I totally disagree with the comment that the lady with strong Chinese access was too weird…
