Love this thing! The sound is great - clear and loud. Like the calling feature on it. I can call and talk to my older kids from home if their phones are connected. At night in the pool the light looks cool, doesn't fill the whole pool. We will also be using it in the hot tub, I expect the light to fill that space more. TO UPDATE! We've been using this for a few months and it's amazing. A fast charge lasts LONG. Plus, its light definitely fills the entire hot tub. So much fun!

I love this bluetooth speaker. I have not used it for a pool as the pool is not set up yet. The only thing I would advise is to make a different model with separate volume buttons instead of serving a dual purpose. If I try to increase the volume, it skips to the next song no matter where or how I press the button. The sound quality is good and it's easy to set up and use the instructions. Ordered for our new pool. Great sound for such a small speaker! We've been using it for several hours and it hasn't failed. If a lot of water gets into the speaker vents at the top it can muffle the sound a bit, but you can just turn it upside down and dump the water out and the sound will be clear again. This only happened when my kids fully submerged it for a moment. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the lights don't illuminate the whole pool like I thought when I bought it.

I bought it a few weeks ago but it died (through my fault) so I immediately replaced it with the same speaker as this thing was Cool while it worked. Taking an outdoor swim and just sticking your head under the water and listening to your favorite music is the best. The speaker isn't powerful enough to be heard due to the usual loud noises from the tub motor and bubbles, but when the bubbles aren't on it's perfect for relaxing. This speaker is fantastic. Battery life seems to be improving (we use it every time we're in the pool and only charge it every two weeks). It is very easy to connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth. It's upstairs and I can only hear it when I'm sitting next to me. There is little background noise and playback often skips.
