Perfect fit for my 2014 BMW X1. The copper seal does not apply to my car as it is not equipped with a sealed copper plug. Mine has a different plug.

This is the same as what you get from the dealer but in different packaging. These guys make BMW filters. It comes with new o-rings and an oil plug copper washer. I will buy this again.

This filter is made by BMW or the manufacturer who makes it for BMW. The kit includes a filter, 2 filter gaskets and 1 oil pan drain gasket. Much cheaper than BMW dealership and exactly the same part.

Perfect Fit: 2009 BMW X3 xDrive30i 6 Cylinder Comes with small and large rubber O-rings AND small drain plug. The filter was new, fitted perfectly and fitted snugly into the plastic housing. I will continue to buy 3,000 mile oil change intervals that I do myself. Came in original packaging, rings and washer were shrink-wrapped in cling film.

Perfect fit for my E93. includes the required o-rings and a copper washer for the drain plug. It looks like there's (2) a package that's only a few dollars more expensive. In the future I would buy 2 packs as I change the oil and filter twice on the manufacturer recommended cycle. Synthetic oil only. Fluids are cheap compared to rebuilding an engine for a car I'm going to leave.

I was initially skeptical because of the low price but bought a couple of these filters and changed the oil myself as no matter how old your BMW is (mine is 2007) The auto repair shops they serve think you're made of money. An oil change here costs 100 dollars for my car. My car has a high mileage of 216,000, when I change these filters I never see any leaks around the gaskets. You are doing well.

Used on my 2012 328i xdrive coupe, E92. I will never use anything other than this filter. When I did this I had problems twice, once with oil leaking into the vanos and the next time with oil leaking under the cover and bottom. I was very, very lucky both times. Baby, your oil is changing! I change the oil and filter every 3500 miles, use 7 liters of Penzoil Synthetic Euro 5W30 and add 1 liter every 1500 miles. And physically inspect under the hood weekly.
