Did the job! - Spare parts

Screw head one size too small. Sk, I had to use a different socket to install them as opposed to the socket used to uninstall the original. But my 335i e90 is enough.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Mandatory for repair or replacement

Need new screws when replacing the starter. Period ! disposable originals. If you remove the old ones, they won't be as strong as they used to be.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Lot

Fits 2007 BMW 525XI

I replaced the starter motor on my 2007 BMW 525XI. The manual says these aluminum bolts need to be replaced, which I have done. Not sure if this is true or can the originals be returned? They worked and met expectations.

Pros
  • Handsfree Kit
Cons
  • Fits

Genuine parts fit head bolt kits

11mm 12 point socket was used for removal. Bought a Menards 11mm UNIVERSAL WRENCH to retighten. Because I don't have a torx. You will also need a 3/8 inch swivel head ratchet. This was for a 2009 BMW 528i. I've never worked with BMW before, but everything went well.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Bolts are good. Suitable for engines and engine parts

This is required when replacing a starter motor on a BMW. However, the price for 2 bolts is simply robbery from the main street. Also, BMW engineers must have thought that if you can afford to own a BMW, you should make money while you sleep and have plenty of time. Because of this, they decided to put the longest screw on the back of the starter, leaving only about 2 inches of space between the firewall to access it. Thanks very much !

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Long delivery time

When replacing the starter, only use new screws!

The bolts are a perfect fit for mounting my BMW N54 starter motor. DO NOT reuse old bolts when replacing the starter. Only install new screws! Torque each bolt to 10 ft-lbs, then turn the short bolt 90 degrees and the long bolt 180 degrees for final torque. Be sure to watch a few installation videos beforehand. Doing it yourself will save you $$$ over what the dealer will charge you.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

Fits perfectly. BMW parts

Perfect fit. BMW parts. Of course, those aluminum one-way screws are both stupid and unnecessary. Go to a hardware store and buy regular metric steel screws. Put some anti-seize on them and save your money. You can buy two properly sized steel bolts at any hardware store for about two dollars. Or you're an obsessive BMW freak and you keep buying those one-off bolts that are totally unwarranted and totally stupid, but honestly, those bolts are good, proper BMW parts.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Functionality
