I love it!: Ironing accessories

With this product you can lay clean edges, ironing wool without "shine". You can iron polyester at higher temperatures and don't have to worry about silk.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Socket required

Fits my Rowenta iron, I bought it to make sure I didn't make a mistake.

Goes great with my Rowenta iron. I bought this to make sure I didn't have accidents when ironing linen that could be ironed, but I found it worked great with regular ironing, no shiny spots on nylon fabrics. Works perfectly.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expandable

Wrecked my iron. in irons and steamers

I had a very good Rowenta DW9280; Emphasis on "was". The design of this cap traps heat and melts the plastic around the sole. When they say "nothing burns or burns," they mean fabric, but they don't mean an actual iron.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Almost never

This allows me to iron the darkest colors without ironing.

With this I can iron the darkest colors without "shiny" spots. However, you must periodically remove it from the iron to prevent corrosion from forming on the soleplate. It also stays in place with a handy drawstring closure.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Repair

Iron everything without worries!

This is my second Bo Nash iron and I love it! The first was the tie style. This worked fantastically, but over time (after a few years for example!) the cotton ribbons started to look a little burnt, although the ironing area was still fine. Got this and it's perfect! I iron almost everything at full speed (I sew a lot) and it works great on even the finest lace and tulle.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Reliable

Better than expected

I have been using this iron shoe for many years. It was spring held and had a heavy plastic cover. I was expecting the same when I ordered it but when it arrived it wasn't and it looked like a cheap replacement with a cheap lanyard to keep it on the iron. I had the choice to wear it. To my surprise, these changes were great! It adapts to the shape of the iron and slides more easily. I love it!

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings everything is fine

Great Product - Ironing Accessories

I do bespoke tailoring for a living and couldn't do without this product! I love it! Prevents synthetic fabrics from melting and cotton fabrics from burning! No need to adjust the temperature if you change the type of fabric you are working with! I like it. I will say that after a while the straps loosen which causes the cover to slip a bit. I did, however, purchase a small lanyard clip (don't know what they're called) at my local fabric store. Now I can put it on and take it off very easily…

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Defects

This is the most comfortable cloth protector I have ever used. It fits any iron as it uses a piece of string to stretch it around your iron. You simply slide the top over the top of the iron and then tighten the strings on the bottom. After quite a short use the 'shoe' came loose but I just had to loosen and tighten it again and again it stayed nice and tight for a very long time before coming loose again. Use my iron like crazy. I sew from all kinds of fabrics, so I iron and iron all kinds of…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
