Straps come loose while cycling

I have used ratchet straps on my boat and trailer for many years. I bought them as a gift for my brother and they get lost while traveling. I've never experienced that with a ratchet strap. They are not safe to use with your boat. Buy another brand!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Minor issues

I didn't pay attention to all those bad reviews

• very cheap! don't stay locked up the ratchet is not smooth at all • Heavy duty, but typical Chinese junk • Poor product. Machining of metal parts was poor. • Metal parts were poorly machined, leaving burrs. All right, cheap, poor workmanship, not smooth, will scratch my boat! This is the product that needs to be removed from the site and not sold.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • expensive

Bad product. Machining of metal parts was poorly maintained.

Bad product. Machining of metal parts was poor, leaving burrs. Complicated threading system with inadequate instructions (the diagram doesn't even show where the strap should go in, how it should be wound onto the movement, or where exactly it should exit. It should have come pre-threaded anyway. The online instructions were of little help, and almost comically they were so badly made.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Heavy duty but typically Chinese junk

I had to take some time to file down a few burrs on the pawl before it started to turn. A bit disappointing given the price. In addition, the belt pads are only 3/16" wider than the frame. If you don't connect them very carefully, they will likely scratch your transom. I'm sticking with my clasps for now until I figure out how to pad these things wider. So how much did they save by making the weave edges so narrow? tenths of cents? Say a big thank you to the accountants.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some issues
