GM/OEM quality item without GM/OEM price. Very good value for money.

I bought this lock cylinder to fit on a backup camera housing with a lock. Installation was exceptionally easy, as was matching the lock to my truck key. Mold quality is OEM. Combined with the new tailgate handle trim, this lock cylinder is an easy way to add a lockable tailgate to your truck.

Only worked twice. To return.

I coded my key according to the instructions and it worked. I blocked it and tried to unlock it and it stopped spinning. The height of the key slot is noticeably larger than the standard lock, so the key doesn't fit my 2014 Silverado at all. The lock has room to move the key up and down. I'm sure it has something to do with the problem. Will send it back tomorrow and look for a better one.

Works on standard tailgate with lock hole.

I was a bit skeptical how this would work as it is a non original lock that locks itself. I was also disappointed that there was no clip in the box to hold it. But I was a little surprised, the latch was still on the plastic case, and the lock popped open immediately. The key part also worked great and now I can lock the tailgate again. It all took 10 minutes from start to finish. Very happy with it!

Great product and easy to use. LOVE THE FACT, it uses the same key as my ignition switch.

Does what you need. Easy to install quick key for your car. A NOTICE. You need to make sure you have the right grip for this to work. I had to buy a new clasp which was fine. But if you didn't have a lock before, you may need to replace the handle/latch as well. This was NOT their product's fault. I didn't fully research this before buying the lock. But hey, your product did exactly what it was supposed to do and I still had to spend about $30 on a latch to latch my truck. I ended up spending…
