Much better than I thought, the protectors even stick to stainless steel spokes. Works better than some Clover brands I've bought. Rubber is a softer (and apparently stickier) material. Satisfied and hope they continue to work well. So far only stainless steel needles have been used, but they should work just as well with bamboo or plastic needles.

I don't know why they have such good reviews. They are not as stretchy and flexible as "real" Clover stain pads. They are described with two pack sizes; You are not. The big ones came in two different sizes, which could have been good if there wasn't just one protector for one size. Not worth keeping, so sending it back.

They do what they have to do. Quite easy. I've found that it's not a big deal to worry about what needle size they fit. They seem to work well with small or large needles because they are rubbery and therefore flexible. If color is important to you, this might not be the best choice. The ones in the photo are beautiful and different colors but the ones I have are orange and pale green. Of course that's subjective, but I find the colors ugly. I bought these for craft glue. There was only 1 pink, the rest is yellow and aqua. I was hoping for more pink and red instead of yellow and aqua. The color looks very pale/dull. But at least they will serve their purpose. Great price, that's for sure, I may order more in the future. 20 will hopefully last a long time. I have read the reviews multiple times.
