Sticks to toys for hours

My parrot loves scraps of paper. Keeps her busy for hours. She loves throwing torn paper on the floor and watching it fall to the ground.

Great for adding to toys!

This is a great addition to our bird toy range. Our only parrot "Matt" pulls him from different feeding bowls throughout the day. Great to add toys!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Good price and easy to use for making parrot toys.

For forging toys for my parrot. He loves to pull it out of small boxes and toys along with treats. can i make my own Yes, but why when it's convenient, ready and worth it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not very colorful on toys

Milady Gould's finches use nothing but colored paper for their nests. I wish this product was in a much larger package for the price I paid for it. My finches prefer the much more colorful paper with wires from parrot toys and don't like dull colors. Maybe my finches are just snobs? Good paper quality for which I give this product four stars.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Requires socket

Product is not marked as "bird safe "

There was no indication on the packaging that this product is bird safe (I understand there are no laws that require that wording). When I peeled off the label from Bonka, I saw the original manufacturer. I couldn't find this manufacturer online, nor was I able to find out what the paper was colored with or if it was bird safe (or child safe as it was originally sold as a bath towel for girls and boys).

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Communicate with seller

Not for birds just expensive and misleading basket filling

I spent the extra money and bought this for my bird rather than buying other shredded paper as I wanted to make sure it was safe for her. However, when I received it, I found that it is just like any other shredded paper. Nothing on the packaging said it was for birds, just that it was meant to fill a basket! I would have just bought the cheaper wicker filling if I knew it wasn't sold or tested on birds!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Strong smell! on Birds

This is the first Bonka product I threw away the moment I opened it. The packaging itself looked pretty dated to be honest. The label began to fade and wear off (as if it had been in a warehouse for years). However, the problem is not in the packaging, but in the strong smell that the paper gives off! Smells like pure Listerine mouthwash. I knew with certainty that something was wrong and never took the risk of giving it to my birds. Instead I threw it away and got a refund. The shredded paper…

Pros
  • Neat finish
Cons
  • There's nothing here
