Dangerous for your bird

These toys are very dangerous for birds. They have small rivets that can take out birds and pierce their beaks or swallow them. If you decide to buy them, you need to remove two rivets in each shoe. Once the rivets are removed the birds love this toy and I believe they are safe.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Disappears

REMOVE METAL PARTS BEFORE USE!

The main part of the boot is a toy, but the metal parts and the small rubber holding it must be removed before use to avoid choking or choking hazard. completely or use metal that actually holds together. My pet has had a "not clicked" for several minutes.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Zero

Unsafe toy for my birds

The bird is less than 60 dissected which would be fine except for the grommets that attach the strap, they come loose immediately and then you spend more time a bird to pull it out because the eyelets are tiny. I might be a cause for concern but I felt like they were an obstacle waiting in the wings! Small conversations are great, they're a lot of fun, and they're a lot safer.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • old

Lots of time to play with the ferrets!

I bought these for my child's ferret (twice now), he loves them! Loves her! He plays a long time hiding them and we pull them out of hiding back to the middle of the floor so he just thinks this is an endless supply of tiny shoes. Runs up and down stairs. Eventually they get so worn down by his teeth that we throw them away, but plenty of time to play!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Just like the original, only small.

I don't know who figured out tiny shoes make great bird toys, but he or she is a genius. We usually buy tiny sneakers like Converse, but this time I decided to spice it up and expand it a bit. Small "crocodiles" like real ones. The small strap even moves up and down like the original. They are colorful and fun and my Goffins and my Revane will be thrilled when they see them in the morning. Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • A Few Little Things

The bird loved them for the toys

My bird loved destroying these guys. She has a serious rubber fetish (grips on handles, rubber on the mouse scroll wheel). This kept their destructiveness at reasonable levels for a while. They have small metal eyelets. So please be careful with them unless your bird knows not to eat metal parts. (Mine always leaves the metal spikes she destroys somewhere for me to find) I have an Indian Ringneck and I hung her in her neighborhood. Oh yeah. They have a small hole in the heel that my carabiner…
