I received this tray because of its size and high sides. With the traditional box, my cat struggled with not having a litter box when she left. This seems large enough (and with high enough sides) where it is no longer a problem. It also has enough space to move around. As the name suggests, the Swift Scoop is pretty easy to clean - it has no corners. The manufacturer claims that it can be cleaned in 3 scoops. Addendum 10/2009: Well I'm trying this tray again - I had to remove it from the attic. My 17 year old cat has thyroid problems affecting her gut. I realized I probably put too much junk in that box. I reduced the amount of junk I used in it and now it works much better. This is a nice addition to my very large, high walled boxes to give my cat more choice. Advantages: 1. Two high sides help reduce dirt a little. 2. 4 curved bowl corners make scooping easier. No more clumps that can break off when brushing. Pooh!
