Bora T Square Accessory System 544002 Review

I use this to cut large sheet materials with an NGX clamping edge. Works very well and accurately. Clip on both sides makes it very secure. Doesn't bend or give when I slice and dice straight and clean.

You usually get what you pay for. Unfortunately, this line of tools seems cheap and flimsy, not what you're looking for in a tool store. I'm afraid to take it to work for fear of damaging it or worse.

When the product to be cut is less than 2.5 cm thick, your workbench can quickly become an obstacle. The two ends of the clip will rest against the bench and will cling to it if the product is smaller than your bench and less than an inch thick. You have to be creative in solving this problem.

I bought this along with the entire Bora edge clamp system in the hope it would help me with multiple cuts. After a few cuts I took it off and just used the clamping system without it. Making the same cut over and over again would increase its usefulness, but for me I made several different cuts, so I had to keep stopping to move the edge to make sure I wouldn't cut it when I made the cut make . This forced me to double check my measurements which was a waste of time. The edge also doesn't help

I think it will work for *something*. I just don't know what exactly. I bought a Bora NGX 50" clamp and saw guide to use as an inexpensive chainsaw so I could cut 4x8 panels in the yard into 4x4 sections that would fit in a van. This combo works damn well. The great thing about the NGX clamp is that it can be adjusted from the side of the clamp instead of the opposite side like the previous version, which required me to walk back and forth from one side of the plate to the other.
