🔊 Borla 400436 Performance Muffler Review

Great sound out of this muffler, my truck pulls my ass with no hesitation or flat spots now, it allows my k&n air intake to go anywhere very happy that the sound is a low growl when you enter it, wow!

I bought this muffler to replace a 40 series Flow Master. The Flow Master 40 series is a great muffler, but the only thing wrong with it is that it makes a dull sound at highway cruising speeds. Sounds good when accelerating but not at cruising speed. So I bought this Borla muffler. It's not harsh like the Flow Master, but you don't feel the vibrations in the cockpit like the Flow Master, and it's easy and a little louder than the original and smooth, you can feel the increase in pedal…

Not the sound I expected from a Borla muffler. 2008 Dodge Jack with 5.7 flat head, stainless steel long pipe elbows, coil replacement, stock 3" to 6" tip. It's VERY quiet at idle up to 1500rpm, VERY loud (sounds like double glazing/turbo muffler) from 1600-2300rpm and then levels off back into the red from 2300rpm. I was hoping for a hoarse sound, but just as loud across the rev range.
