Not for gingers: mandolins

Not very plastic. I bought for ginger, after a couple of hits the fiber gets tangled in the blade. So not good for my purpose.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Reliability

Good blades - kitchen & food

So far I've only used them to chop zucchini. I like the size and shape. It is easy to hold while grinding. The blades are of good quality and sharp enough to last a long time.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Annoying

Where is the FOOD SAFETY HOLDER?

The instructions say "Caution, sharp cut surface! Please always use a feed holder! Keep away from children". Then why did the product come without a food holder?

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

Cheaply molded hollow plastic

Cheaply made. The teeth (blades) are very sharp, well designed and made of high quality steel. Molded plastic case is of poor quality. It is very expensive and is on my list of regrettable purchases. I will avoid the Borner brand.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Out of fashion

A good alternative to a grinder.

Very sharp blades. Finely chops hard cheese, vegetables, etc. I'm not as experienced as the demos I've seen, but it's fun. I bought the shredder individually and had to buy the guard separately but I really need it for security.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Repair

Great chopper for kitchen and dining room

I love this chopper! It is well made, sands well and is easy to clean. I like the shredder's red color so it doesn't discolour when shredding and beating carrots. I've been looking for a grinder like this for a long time. I've bought many other types, including expensive mandoline slicers, but they couldn't get the job done, even close to this chopper. I mainly use it for carrots and chunks to make Korean carrot salad.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Exotic matches

So easy to use. Make matches out of radish, carrot, jicama or apple. Before serving, add some sweet Japanese rice vinegar. Maybe add some microgreens? A very refreshing addition as a side dish. If it's heavy enough, handle it. If you need to add some salt just before eating. However, you don't really need anything.5 Good sized radishes (any kind), a medium-sized carrot and 1/2 a small apple cost about: Help me: 50 cents?

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things

We like to eat carrots, radishes and zucchini.

It's amazing. Hardy carrots, radishes, cucumber pulp, etc. can easily be processed into noodles. They're fun to eat as a side dish or in salads. Easy on the jaw and teeth, I'm in my early 50s. Easy to take out, use. You'll end up having to pull the last few strands out a bit to clean, but that's not a big problem. You will get used to it. Cleaning is easy. I have v Slicer etc. But I seem to use it more often and enjoy it. Just use firm vegetables for good results. Cut the carrots to the desired

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
