I was so surprised when I started sewing and the bosal cotton turned out to be much thinner than the roll I bought the first time. I checked, everything is the same, but my carpet didn't turn out the way it should. The only difference I could tell when hitting it was the footage and the size of the reels. I ordered the same brand and size three months earlier and needed more. This batch was no different from the first order. It was wider and not even of the same texture or thickness. The outside of the roll was a different size than the inside. I had to cut each section by hand, measure, if I hadn't already cut the sections I would have returned them. POOR QUALITY CONTROL. I bought several of these rolls to make jelly roll mats. I tried cutting my own cotton and quickly realized that pre-cutting is worth EVERY penny. It's a lot easier and allows me to sew instead of cutting. My only criticism is that the thickness of the batting is the same from roll to roll. Some are very thick and plush, others are almost transparent. They all work well, but I don't want half my rug to be significantly thicker than the other half, so I have to pick the 2 with the lightest…
