DO NOT BUY! Best in Fuel Injection System

My 2001 Duramax needed a fuel pressure regulator Refer this article and the acquisition I installed and now it's caused significantly more problems than it helped. Don't buy from this supplier, buy directly from a reliable source

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

Partly overhauled. I paid a fair price to have this fixed and it was bad. Luckily my mechanic didn't ask me to take it off and put the old one back. Traded it in for another one and that was bad too and once again I paid for the install only to end up putting my old one in. back to.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Doubtful

Fixed my "splash " on a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LB7.

Ordered a while ago and finally got around to installing it. I decided to try it myself as the mechanic told me it would cost around $800 to replace. Took the shortcut by simply removing the air intake, turbo horn, and then a bad FPR. Didn't want to go down the route of dismantling half the engine as recommended by GM. Looks the same as the old one. Fixed my idle "splash" on my 2004 Silverado 2500HD LB7. Some reviews say it got bad after two weeks, I have two weeks and so far so good! I'm notโ€ฆ

Duramax with Lope at Idle Rough Idle LB7

I ordered this part to fix my Duramax LB7 engine idling. At idle the engine revved like a big cam race engine and then flattened out above 1000 rpm with a 2200 rpm ceiling. Check the actual and desired fuel pressure with a scanner. If the actual value is 180MPa, it means it is running at full pressure and behaving as if the regulator is disconnected or worn out. Check all of your connections before changing this suction cup, especially the connector behind the fuel rail. With all of the plugsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Useless Features

UPDATE CHANGE: Got a new one because the the first was bad. install new one, still bad. Don't be fooled, it's not Bosch, it's not stamped but it has the original part number at the end, it says Bosch. I'm surprised they can name this thing. That does not work. and the picture for that is also wrong what is in the picture for lbz duramax makes me wonder if they just plugged the end in too hard and put in a straight plug instead of 90 degrees for lbz which would mean you do would have to adjustโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
