You need to drill 10 holes in the steel. It only lasted 4 hours.

Short lived and unable to complete the job. We ended up using old beats from a popular discount store that went through the steel like clockwork. I was shocked as I was always happy with everything at Bosch. It's either a lemon or a fake. Do not buy this item.

Pros
  • The latter is 50 percent longer than HSS.
Cons
  • Available in white only.

Some will ask why 5 stars. I have only used.

Some will ask why 5 stars. I've only used the drill bit to drill 31/64 diameter holes (a drill bit I had on hand but not big enough) in wood to clear up to 1/2 of the dowels used as pivot points in toys . I definitely can't judge the lifespan of a metal drill bit, but it cuts cleanly in softwood. Exactly what I needed.

Pros
  • For cutting steel, copper, aluminium, brass, oak, maple, MDF, pine, PVC, polycarbonate, acrylic, ABS, nylon and composite materials
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great Beats! Take your time, use lube!

I bought 4 17/32 inch bits thinking I'd use them all but unfortunately I'll be back 3 I was able to over-drill 4" stainless steel and 2" clutch steel (not sure what kind it is) with just 1 bit. It's still good and sharp. Of course, I used solid drilling technique (a lot of lubrication, relatively low speed and economy). a bit of overheating, took my time.), but I'm still impressed! Great product! I can recommend it!

Pros
  • Easier drilling, less heat and longer drill life
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
