Cuts steel like wood

I had to drill a few holes in the trailer frame for self tapping screws. This is cut through with a bit of Tap Magic as if it were wood. Good stuff, I will order more.

Worked on parts and accessories for an electric drill

Had to drill some broken bolts into an old fireplace door. This bit worked perfectly drilling out the old bolt and allowing me to re-cut the hole for the new bolt. would recommend

triangular shank section for better chuck grip

It has a triangular shank section where it sits in the chuck so it's much less likely to rotate in the chuck and become damaged. I keep a utility file next to the drill case to file off the burr that forms when the drills get stuck and the chuck can't hold them and the drills spin freely. These Bosch drills will be my choice in the future. They have a non-standard tip grid geometry that can be better or worse in terms of drilling motion in metal.
