🔴 Bosch HB187 Bi-Metal Hole Saw 1-7 inches Review

Based on my observations, this hole saw is a complete waste of money. Despite being marketed as an industrial and scientific-grade tool, it failed to deliver. I had to apply a lot of force to cut through thin metal, making it very difficult to use. Plus, the teeth quickly lost their sharpness after just a few uses. The only positive thing I can say is that the saw comes with an adapter, but that's hardly worth the investment. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

I have a number of other Bosch products and this bit, while small, is of the usual high quality that Bosch is known for. It's hard to say otherwise, he just does his job well. I used it to cut a large hole in my boat's sea carpeted aluminum bulkhead and was really surprised at how easy the job was. A good product

This saw worked well and is as good as other more expensive hole saws. The only thing this hole saw and other competing brands need is a chip cover. If these saws were made with multiple holes above the teeth around the perimeter, with slots between the teeth leading to these holes, the chips could escape. In its current form, the operator must constantly move away from the cut and remove chips.
