Ideal for plywood: hole saws

Works great with 3/4" thick plywood if you have the right drill bit and know how to work with it without breaking your wrist.

Pros
  • Use Bosch adapter: AN02
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Do Not Buy - Hole Saws and Accessories

According to the description it is designed for wood and metal. Can't tell if it works on wood, but it won't cut through a piece of 26 gauge tin.

Pros
  • Works with standard or quick change mandrels (requires adapter for quick change)
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Used this hole saw on a drill to cut a round hole in a pine door. It is used with a mandrel (I used a Bosch PCM38AN). I got a lot of kickback when using it with an electric drill and it was impossible to make a straight cut. She seemed to be able to work better on a drill. However, I switched the saw to a less powerful 12 volt drill and had much better results at lower speeds and was able to finish my project. The saw still appears to be sharp. It's probably a good choice if you need a 6 inch…

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Out of style
