SDS-Max ONLY - works great!

Drill through limestone and the thing does it. Still going strong after several holes. Stop using the shop vacuum frequently to suck material out of the hole and use water in the hole to facilitate cutting and cool the drill bit.

Highly do not recommend this bit

Have been using Bosch tools for over 17 years. And this drill bit was used to drill concrete for HVAC installations. Unfortunately, this is the second bat to break in a year. It seems that Bosch has now reduced the metal quality of its products compared to before. It is interesting that the official representative of the company will answer this.

Exceeded my expectations

I was able to drill 8 holes in hard basalt with this drill. We went a full 24 inches into the hole with the Hilti chuck, which allowed the universal stand that holds the solar panels to be anchored deeper. Caveat: We got stuck twice the first time for not vacuuming the trash for too long. out of the hole and it pooled on top of the chisel, interfering with its extraction. The stone fell about 14 inches into the hole and got stuck at the top of the bit flanges and the wall of the hole. We had to
