Excellent bit in power tool parts and accessories

Holds very well when punching concrete steps. It took a long time to wear out - held up much better than other chipping bits.

Pros
  • Wide hammer compatibility - Works with hammers that accept SDS Plus bits
Cons
  • Something different

The 18 inch markers are direct from Bosh. 12 inches from tip to .

Marked 18" direct from Bosh. 12 inches from tip to tip. Working length 8 inches. I will keep it, but I need to find a real 18 inch racket for the future. Who knows. Maybe my wife can use this thing if I'm not as tough as steel personally. :(

Pros
  • Self-sharpening design - eliminates the need to sharpen the chisel
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Saved my bacon: Auger

Routing a drain line through an old handlaid stone wall; I had to make a hole. The foundation level rocks were huge, I bought them to fit my large Bosch rock drill bit. Using a good quality German hole saw I drilled many holes in the problematic boulder and used this wedge bit in my masonry bit to chip off a chunk of the boulder so I could make a 4 inch drain. and a hammer.

Pros
  • Faster shredding - designed to increase material removal by up to 15 percent
Cons
  • Slightly torn
