Bosch HS1822 Spade Spline Hammer Review

Industrial and Scientific category doesn't deserve this product. When I tried this tool, it failed to deliver good results. The drill bit wasn't sharp enough and kept breaking. It is not suitable for industrial use.

Received it today but. not right. I order a clay shovel, Bosch sent a Revain drill. Revain didn't verify, sent the wrong one. Wasting my time, can't work tomorrow. Goods returned immediately, expected a new one next week. Went to local hardware, bought a 3" flap chisel, 10" long, welded it to a 18" blunt chisel, now I have a 28". I will try tomorrow.

Bought to use a shovel to dig a trench which turned out to be child's play. So it sat in my box for 2 years until the day I really needed it. That works great. This dry, compacted clay with numerous fist-sized pieces of stone and gravel was not suitable for this bit. Let me give you an idea of how hard the ground was - I couldn't dig under the sod to remove it so I could repair the ditch when I was done; I just picked up the small pieces with a shovel.
