Bosch HS1914 Point SDS Max Hammer Review

Based on my observations, this product doesn't live up to its industrial and scientific classification. While the bit's durability is a positive aspect, its accuracy and efficiency are severely lacking. The bit's inability to drill evenly and its tendency to become jammed make it a frustration to use. I would suggest seeking out alternative options in the cutting tool category.

This is NOT an SDS bit or SDS+. This uses an SDS-Max shank (larger than the standard SDS). This bit is therefore not suitable for the most common rotary hammers such as the Bosch Bulldog.

Love the extra length of this drill; gentler on the back. But it seems to be fading fast. I used an angle grinder to restore the shape of the tip. With a longer shaft, this can be done a few more times. Would have preferred a harder steel or carbide tip. But so far I haven't found anything of the sort.
