Clay Shovel for Brute Breaker Tool

This drill bit works really well on slate that used to take a lot of effort with a pickaxe to break through. My excavator has a hard time cutting even through this material, but this clay shovel cuts through the toughest little slate wheels with ease.

Pros
  • Drill Bit
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Drill Clay Lover

just bought this and used it with Bitty Breaker and it's a great tool for both jackhammer and hand jackhammer. an area of hard clay where the pick just bounces off, and even with just a Bitty Breaker this thing slices through unbreakably like a hot dull knife through butter.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tool
Cons
  • Fragile

Outstanding best among spade bits

I use this shovel with Makita 70lbs. The vertical hammer and combo is just a monster. You really want to find clay or crumbled granite with a tool. I've been digging trenches for stackable log walls and this tool is a real time saver. Worth every penny. I bought a Bosch shovel because I couldn't find one similar to the Makita. A little heavy, but you get used to it.

Pros
  • spade bit
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
