I love this BOSH angle grinder!

I do not work in construction, I only work at home. I had a Makita in perfect condition and sold it to get a new Bosh at a fantastic price. The grip is indeed a bit nicer and thinner than the Makita. My hands are not very big so this Bosh model fits me better. The handle is easier to grip and a little less tiring as it doesn't vibrate as much. This means it has an amazing design. I bought this grinder to replace another (different brand) that died after 2-3 years. I installed 300 square feet of engineered stone outside of our home and have been working on it for months, using it (literally) every weekend since I bought it, 4-5 hours a day. So far he's held up well. I chose this one because of the location of the power button and the dimensions of the "barrel" (handle area). Not like before.

I bought two in September 2019 to add to my two old Bosch 1380 Slim grinders. Within a year, in June 2020, one of the bottom bracket bearings on the GWS8-45 motor failed, prompting me to send it in for repair. It was working again, but by November 2020, just a few months after the overhaul, it AND the second GWS8-45 had died again. The new brushes didn't solve the problem and I don't even want to open them because I've completely lost faith in the model. The model is so similar to the old…
